Important Notice

Hex Snake is an online arcade snake game with free rooms and paid USDC rooms. Paid rooms use an internal ledger connected to on-chain USDC deposits and withdrawals. This notice explains the rules, risks, privacy practices, and user responsibilities for the service.

This text is not legal advice. The operator must review it with qualified counsel before offering paid gameplay in any jurisdiction. If a rule conflicts with applicable law, the applicable law controls and the service may be restricted or unavailable.

Eligibility and Restricted Use

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your location, whichever is higher.
• You may not use paid rooms if skill games, paid-entry games, digital-asset payments, or prize-like gameplay are prohibited or regulated in your location.
• You are responsible for confirming that your use of Hex Snake is legal where you live and where you access the service.
• You may not use the service if you are subject to sanctions, located in a restricted jurisdiction, or using the service for unlawful activity.
• The service is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Game Rules and Paid Rooms

• The server is authoritative for movement, collisions, death, balances, deposits, withdrawals, room entry, and cash-out logic.
• Paid room entry is deducted from your in-game ledger balance when you enter the room.
• In paid rooms, a portion of the entry may be retained as a house fee and the remaining game value appears as collectible sparkles according to the room configuration.
• If you are eliminated, your current in-room USDC balance is scattered into the arena as sparkles and may be collected by other players.
• If you cash out successfully, the server credits your current in-room balance back to your ledger balance.
• If the server stops or restarts before a paid room run is completed, active paid entries may be refunded according to the server recovery logic.
• Bots may appear in rooms. Paid bots may be funded by an operator-controlled bot funder ledger balance and are part of normal gameplay.

Payments, USDC, and Blockchain Risk

• Deposits and withdrawals use USDC on the configured blockchain network. You are responsible for using the correct network, token, wallet, and amount.
• Blockchain transactions may be irreversible, delayed, rejected, reorganized, or affected by RPC, wallet, network, smart contract, or treasury liquidity issues.
• USDC and other digital assets are not bank deposits, are not FDIC insured, and may involve issuer, blockchain, wallet, custody, depeg, and regulatory risk.
• Hex Snake is not an investment product, savings product, broker, exchange, bank, or financial adviser. No profit is guaranteed.
• Withdrawals may fail or be delayed if the game bank has insufficient USDC or gas, if payments are disabled, or if a transaction cannot be confirmed.
• You are responsible for taxes, reporting, and any legal duties connected to deposits, withdrawals, prizes, gains, or losses.

Fair Play and Account Security

• You may not cheat, automate unfair play, exploit bugs, manipulate networking, attack the server, or interfere with other players.
• The operator may block access, cancel suspicious activity, delay withdrawals, or preserve records when fraud, abuse, security risk, or legal compliance requires it.
• You are responsible for your wallet, private keys, MetaMask security, device security, and any transactions signed from your wallet.
• Report suspected bugs, payment issues, or security problems before attempting to use them.

Privacy Policy

Hex Snake may collect and process the following data:

• Wallet address, session token, display name, selected region, selected skin, local anonymous browser id, and local gameplay preferences.
• Gameplay data such as room entries, balances, deaths, kills, quality mode, ping, performance telemetry, room id, region id, and anti-abuse signals.
• Payment records such as deposit transaction hashes, withdrawal records, ledger balance, house fee records, audit logs, and blockchain confirmation data.
• Technical data such as IP address, user agent, logs, error reports, security events, and server connection metadata.

This data is used to operate the game, authenticate wallets, maintain the ledger, process deposits and withdrawals, prevent fraud, secure the service, debug performance, provide support, comply with law, and improve reliability.

Blockchain transactions are public by nature. Wallet addresses and transaction hashes may be visible on public block explorers and cannot be deleted by Hex Snake.

Sharing, Retention, and User Rights

• Data may be shared with hosting providers, database providers, blockchain RPC providers, wallet infrastructure, security tooling, professional advisers, or authorities when required.
• Ledger, payment, fraud-prevention, and audit records may be retained as long as needed for accounting, dispute handling, security, and legal compliance.
• You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal data where applicable law gives you those rights.
• Some records cannot be deleted if they are required for security, fraud prevention, financial records, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.
• The service may use localStorage or sessionStorage for session, selected region, anonymous id, skin selection, and local settings.

Disclaimers and Liability

• The service is provided as is and as available. Gameplay, payments, regions, rooms, bots, deposits, withdrawals, and balances may be delayed, interrupted, or unavailable.
• The operator is not responsible for losses caused by user error, wrong network, wrong token, compromised wallet, lost keys, blockchain failure, wallet provider failure, or prohibited use.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount of your verified ledger balance at the time the issue occurred.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.
